Short Attention Span

Does anyone else here feel like you're detached from reality? It feels like I can't even remember what I've read whenever I'm reading books or an Internet post, for example, I have to save a web page and look back at it even if I find it interesting enough, I wont remember what I've read, nor can I remember conversations. Does anyone else have this problem? I tend to space out a lot so that could be a reason for my awful memory

Chapter 1: The Eve of the War (The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells)

Ogilvy is an astronomer the narrator knows well and recently they e discovered beams of smoke coming from mars. Apparently they are missiles by advanced human species which many astronomers refuse to believe such notion. The narrator takes a walk with his wife and they both see a tranquil scene in the sky.

Humans nowadays believe there are other life forms on this universe platform, and I can understand how anyone in the past would consider it to be far fetched.

I don't think they mean harm, it could be something not from mars. It could be humans from earth trying to wipe out the population to be in control. Mars could just be a false shield to make people believe it's martians.

My Weekend

My weekend was pretty dull like always, although I really did have plans for today and yesterday.

I’ve been telling myself to get up and get volunteer hours done. I might as well resort to community service from a crime, though, It wouldn’t be good on my resume.

My plan was to wake up Saturday morning and go to the store and give my volunteer sheet and my resume. I ended up staying awake til 4 and waking up at 1 in the afternoon.

Major fail, however, I did get some homework done.

Today I woke up early, however when I called they told me I’d have to wait til Tuesday or Monday in the morning which blows because I have school though I am willing to miss the first class.

I really need a job, I’m sick and tired of sitting here all day… getting sick and stuff.

Immortality and Misfits

Whenever I watch Misfits, I sometimes really wish I was given a power. With Nathan gone, I might say yes to immortality. There’s good sides and bad sides to it. I’d have to see my friends and family die, but at the same time I can provide the newer generation with words of wisdom allowing minds to soar further and faster than anyone could imagine. Then again, I’m okay with telepathy, reading peoples minds and talking to them that way. I don’t own a cellphone, nor do I have the cash to pay the bills. It could be a fun time messing with peoples minds, but I would never use it for bad. I’d use it for complex situations.

Y CAN'T I DO ALL THIS HOMEWORK?!

The education board at my high school have decided to take a dick move by releasing report cards for graduation students.

I have procrastinated for a long time and I have about 72 hours to complete a pile of homework due in November.

Everything from English to Psychology, but I really don’t feel like doing anything.

Then again, do I ever?

Theory of Mind Destruction

In Psychology class, my friend next to me brought up a theory how a single blink of an eye can alter our universe completely, or maybe we enter another universe with an unnoticeable change.

For example, a kid in front of me has hair on his head, I blinked, and one strand is missing, I wouldn’t know, but it happened. Or maybe something has changed halfway across the world, someone is gone, or something a long those lines…

Another could be the president of America is somebody else, that’d be a noticeable way in terms of changed universe.

I asked him if there could be any way to correct that, maybe blink more to come back.

But what if you blink to much, or sneeze to the point you’re back to your mothers womb?

9 months, damn.
